Rememering Kunan Poshpura – Women Resistance Day
On February 23, 1991, Indian troops of Indian Occupied Kashmir invaded the homes of Kashmiris and committed acts of violence against the women of Kunan and Poshpora. It is perhaps one of the darkest days of Kashmir. We celebrate Women REsistance Day today in solidarity with Kashmiri women who have fought for countless decades of freedom against the oppressive forces.
