A great video from the Thunderbolts Project that fits perfectly into the transhumanist / futurist community. It is a fantastic interview with Dr. Gary Schwartz concerning consciousness and the brain. If you put some thought into what the good Dr. is saying, it does make sense. The brain may only be a middleman or at worst, just a receiver. In that case, the entire concept of life expansion by moving the mind to a computer my be a fools errand. Author : Armand Vespertine You may already be familiar with the name Zoltan Istvan . He’s a transhumanist philosopher, best known for his book The Transhumanist Wager. His protagonist Jethro Knights is a radical iconoclast, and lately Zoltan himself has been publishing articles advocating the drastic change implemented in his book.
