America Failing: Puerto Rico Debt Crisis

It has been a bit difficult to come up with good information regarding the Puerto Rican debt crisis. As usual, Bloomberg has the issue covered. Below is a solid audio segment from Bloomberg Benchmark covering the historical issue of the Puerto Rican debt crisis and the possible future. I have also included a video from Bloomberg regarding the issue of setting up procedures for an orderly bankruptcy.

When you go over the information, this is just another example of the US Government not winning to intervene in a financial crisis that involves this nation. We are allowing people to fail, to turn our backs on our own people. We did this in Flint Michigan, we did this in Detroit Michigan, and now the US Government is more than willing to allow Puerto Rico to fail.

This is not America, this is not American values. We the people are not just a set of words. It has meaning and it is a meaning in the 2010’s we have lost. Strive to do more, while we still can.

I have a wide range of views and opinions. I have worked in a number of industries some of them are: Banking, Dairy, Health Insurance, Education and Government. I am the owner and editor in charge of a number of websites and message boards. The crown jewel of the websites is WaveChronicle.com which covers a wide variety of content. The Wave Chronicle is a site built to put forth thought provoking information, which can range from activism, politics, technology, philosophy, climate change, education, futurist / transhumanist theory and some fun articles that tend to be on the conspiracy theory side. Finally, I am also an accomplished no limit holdem poker player who sadly does not see enough time at a poker table.
