Transhumanism is a philosophical movement that advocates for transforming the human condition by developing and making widely available sophisticated technologies to greatly enhance human intellect and physiology. Many philosophers argue that transhumanism will lead to the abolition of pain and suffering in people due to these sophisticated technologies.
